#10 in the “SUJ plays…” series. And this time we’ll be digging out the eyeliner and smudging on the lipstick as we celebrate 40 years of everybody’s favourite cuddly Goths, The Cure. From the post-punk gloom of A Forest, to the twisted pop of The Lovecats, from the manic mayhem of Why Can’t I Be You to the stately glide of Pictures Of You, all your favourite Cure tunes will be here in one unforgettable evening.

We’ll be following the usual format – a Southampton Ukulele Jam version of the vinyl listening party. We’ll be listening to the songs (as many scratchy 7″ singles or albums as we can muster), and playing each track together, as a ukulele jam. Getting a sense of how it was done, and then jamming together, putting SUJ’s unique spin on said track.
